Vanessa graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Liverpool in 2004 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2006.
Vanessa commenced her professional legal career in private practice specializing in dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation) in a variety of civil matters, predominantly in the areas of Construction and Insurance Law.
Vanessa was also actively involved with the work of the Law Society of Singapore as a Council Member.
Vanessa currently specializes in Personal Injury & Negligence Claims. She has advised and acted for insured Claimants as well as major insurance companies in such claims. Vanessa also has experience in Employment , Family and Probate Matters.
Vanessa is an Accredited Mediator. She is an Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre and has conducted mediations in a variety of disputes.
Vanessa is married with 2 young children. She strongly believes in giving back to the community and serves actively in Church.
