Michael Loh

Michael was called to the Singapore Bar in 1992 after graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1991.
From the start of his career 31 years ago, he has always been involved in divorce and family work from adoption to applications for protection orders. He also has a healthy civil litigation portfolio with some cases involving damages claims in the millions. Recently, he has been involved in high profile criminal matters.
In criminal matters, he has helped clients obtain fair results, including the reduction of penalties and forfeiture of bail.
Currently, he acts as an advisor to a few companies, assisting them in their legal and non-legal matters and issues, including restructuring exercises.
His work as a Notary Public has expanded as well, providing notarial services to authenticate documents to be used overseas, eg, Malaysia and the immediate ASEAN region.
Married with two boys, he is an alumnus of Anglo Chinese School and Junior College. He learned the Korean “alphabet” by himself and studies calligraphy in 3 scripts.
