Clifford Law's Involvement
At Clifford Law, we believe that it is important to take the time to do our part for charity and give our support to those who need it.
Our efforts in supporting charitable causes are very much led by Nicholas Aw, who is also the President of the Disabled People's Association. He speaks on behalf of persons with disabilities and often shares his ideas and suggestions with MSF, NCSS, SG Able and the media, listing ways to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities. He has also contributed articles to several publications on disability-related issues. He has appeared in all forms of media and, in November 2013, gave an in-depth interview to the Straits Times’ Supper Club, which usually features prominent public figures and politicians.
Over the years, we have found many other ways to give back to the community — with causes like the Yellow Ribbon Project. Among the host of organisations that we have benefitted are Ang Mo Kio Thye Hua Kwan Hospital Assisi Hospice, AWARE Singapore, Guide Dogs Association of the Blind, Henderson Community Centre, The Kidney Dialysis Foundation, The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore, The National Council of Social Services, Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, SG Enable, Paediatric Renal Division Fund and The Disabled People's Association.
